Cúl Heroes, the official trading cards and magazine of the GAA/GPA, launched their 2018 collection at Croke Park with brand ambassadors James McCarthy and Padraic Mannion. a. Cúl Heroes is entering its fourth year on the market and aims to continue its promotion of Gaelic Games, the players and the unique skills of our national sport. Cúl Heroes Managing Director, Matt McCormack said “we have worked closely with GAA and GPA in last 3 years, we believe this agreement will give us a platform to promote our games to the youth of Ireland better than ever”
This year’s trading card collection includes over 600 cards, including a mixture of players, as well as gold, silver and bronze cards.
Because of the influence the GAA and its players have among young people; each card portrays a positive message around diet and emotional wellbeing. Each pack has seven cards included with the standard packet of cards, this includes one special edition card. Additional products are: Limited edition hurling tins €10, limited edition football tins €10.
Speaking ahead ofThursday’s launch, Cúl Heroes Managing Director, Matt McCormack said; “Every year we add to the collection in different ways, the 2018 collection has some very exciting and unique additions. This year, each county card has its own unique background and a jigsaw of each county crest. And we along with Payday Now are offering a competition this year where schools are encouraged to collect the most cards in the 2018 Championship season and be in with a chance to win €3,000 worth of GAA gear.
